NEW PRACTICE OF THE ISTANBUL TRADE REGISTRY OFFICE
In previous years, the resolutions of the Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of Shareholders of the companies registered before the Istanbul Trade Registry Office, which did not include any item subject to registration, but only the decisions on the approval of the financial statements and the release of directors/managers, used to be submitted to the Headquarters of the Istanbul Trade Registry Office in Eminönü/ Istanbul (İstanbul Ticaret Odası Merkez Bina), with a duly signed petition, in order to be recorded in the trade registry files and the payment of a fee was not required.
However, as per the new practice of the Istanbul Trade Registry Office, effective as of 2024, in case the abovementioned resolutions which are not subject to registration are requested to be recorded in the trade registry files, the resolution shall be submitted to one of the service units of the Istanbul Trade Registry Office (Giyimkent Bölge Temsilciliği, Perpa Bölge Temsilciliği, Anadolu Yakası Bölge Temsilciliği ve Hizmet Birimi, İDTM Hizmet Birimi or Çatalca Hizmet Birimi), with a duly signed petition and a fee shall be paid.
The fee foreseen for this service for the year 2024 is currently TRY 1,250.- (approximately Euro 36/USD 39)*.
