INCREASE IN THE EURO VALUED OF PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCT PRICES
The Decision Amending the Decision on the Pricing of Pharmaceutical Products for Human Health (the “Decision”) has been entered into force by the Presidential decision numbered 7399, published in the Official Gazette dated 23 July 2023 and numbered 32257.
As per the aforementioned Decision, the value of 1 Euro in Turkish Lira to be used in the pricing of pharmaceutical products for human health has been increased by 30.5% and determined to 14.0387 as of July 2023. It has been regulated that since this increase is being applied, the netting transaction regulated in Article 3 paragraph 3 of the Decision will not be applied and the said increase will be valid one day after the publication of the Decision.
The threshold values have been revised in accordance with the increase in the Euro value and have been amended to TRY 48.41 for price-protected products and TRY 25.30 for other products.
Increases up to TRY 4 applied under the provisional Article 7 that has been added to the Decision dated 13 March 2023 and numbered 6932, are not applied in the periodic Euro update. We would like to inform you that the Decision has come into effect on 24 July 2023.
