Normalization Process Begins in July

As you are aware, the curfew hours on weekdays and weekends were rearranged in accordance with the decisions taken at the beginning of June. According to the decision, curfew has been implemented between 22:00 p.m. – 05:00 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Full lockdown has been implemented on Sundays, starting at 22:00 p.m. from Saturday, covering the entire Sunday and ending at 05:00 a.m. on Monday.  According to the new decisions adopted, the curfew restrictions will end by 1 July 2021.
The normalization steps announced following the Presidential Cabinet Meeting held on 21 June 2021 are as follows:
  • Starting from 1 July 2021, the curfew restrictions will be completely removed.
  • Inter-city travel restrictions and restrictions on public transport vehicles are coming to an end.
  • As of 1 July 2021, the normal working hours order will resume in public institutions and organizations.
  • Playing of live music in restaurants will only be permitted until 24:00 hours.
  • Shopping malls and stores will be able to continue their activities on Sundays.
