TÜRKIYE’S REMOVAL FROM FATF’S GREY LIST

Today, the sixth and final Plenary of the Financial Action Task Force (“FATF”, in Turkish, “Mali Eylem Görev Gücü”) under the Presidency of T. Raja Kumar of Singapore concluded.

As per the public announcement of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance of the Republic of Türkiye published on 28 June 2024, Türkiye has been removed from the “grey list” of FATF.

According to the Ministry’s announcement; “Türkiye will continue to combat the financing of terrorism and money laundering with determination and in full compliance with international standards”.
