ABOLISHMENT OF PCR TEST REQUIREMENT IN TÜRKİYE
We refer to our Newsletter dated 17 January 2022. PCR Test Requirements regarding the entry conditions when travelling to Türkiye have now been abolished.
The Ministry of the Interior has issued a Circular regarding PCR Test Requirement on Entry into the Country to the Governorships of 81 Provinces (in Turkish, “Bakanlığımızca 81 İl Valiliğine “Ülkeye Giriş Tedbirleri” Konulu Genelge”) on 31 May 2022, pursuant to the course of the coronavirus outbreak in Türkiye and the recommendations of the Science Board (in Turkish, “Bilim Kurulu”).
Within the framework of this Circular, as of June 1st 2022, a PCR test report with a negative result of maximum 72 hours before entry or a negative rapid antigen test performed within maximum of 48 hours before entry will no longer be required for entering into Türkiye through all border gates.
