Att. Dr. Didier Cailliau, partner of the Law Firm Cailliau&Colakel, is a member of Istanbul Bar Association (2004) and of Paris Bar Association (1998). He has a PhD degree in Law from France (Subject of research: “Customs Union between the European Union and Turkey”) and he graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Law. He is specialized in corporate law (including mergers and acquisitions), contracts law (shareholders agreements, distribution agreements), international arbitration, competition law and labor law. As a sworn translator, he is fluent in French, in Turkish and in English. Didier Cailliau worked at the political section of the French Embassy in Ankara for two and half years and then at Galatasaray University as an assistant professor. Didier Cailliau is French Foreign Trade Advisor since October 2012.
