Of counsel at Dr. R. Barış Erman graduated from German High School (1994) and he has a law degree from Istanbul University, Faculty of Law (1998), a Master’s Degree (2001) and a PhD (2006) in public law from Istanbul University, Institute of Social Sciences. He has worked as research assistant at Istanbul University, Penal Law and Penal Procedure Law Department between 1999 and 2007 and as assistant professor at Istanbul University between 2007 and 2009, at Istanbul Bilgi University between 2009 and 2012. As from 2012, he has been working at Yeditepe University as assistant professor. He has given lectures upon penal law, penal procedure law, comparative penal law, international penal law as well as legal and criminal liabilities of doctors. Barış Erman is fluent at English and in German; he also knows French and Spanish.
